2015 European Championship Women`s

The European Championship Women`s 2015 took place in Bitburg, Germany on 8-9 May 2015.

8 National teams from all over the Europe were set to take part in the competition, including Russia, France, Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Norway and for the first time we had a Turkish National Women`s team compete!

Our favorite part of the competition is the Opening ceremony, where all the participants are dressed in national jerseys, with their country flags walking around the field in front of the stands full of spectators. The Women`s Championship always has a special Ceremony! Who does not want to see beautiful girls playing paintball? Actually, we don`t have many girls in paintball, but during the Women`s Champ we can see them all together: feminine and charming paintball players!

But they are not only charming and sexy girls, they also strong and skilled players. Now… lets get back to the games.

The teams were placed in two groups of four teams each, to play the remaining three in their group. The two best-placed teams from each group advanced to the Semifinals, the other teams in the groups were left to play the games for 5^th and 7^th places.

Topping Group A, Russia obviously was counting on the new title, and the same with France in group B. Poland and Germany, coming to the Final from 2^nd places in each group, struggled for a victory and were beaten by their stronger opponents.

France and Russia battled against one another in the Final game, as it was last year. Could the history repeat itself? Not his year!

Despite last year`s defeat, France are now the European Women champions again after taking a historical 3:2 triumph against Russia in front of the crowded grandstands in Bitburg! This is an astonishing moment for women's paintball in France! Russia had to be content with silver; however, reaching yet another major final is a great accomplishment for them. Germany went home with bronze.

We cannot forget to say thanks to our guests, who produce the very best paintball atmosphere ever - THE SPECTATORS!

We also grateful to all the participants: to the Millennium Series for the support provided for the European Champ organization, to National Teams and also to all the National Federations involved in the organization and to Euroref guys for their hard referee work.

Participating conditions

EVENT REGISTRATION FEE:

- 500 EUR for the affiliated National Federations;
- 750 EUR for non-affiliated National Federations.

Jerseys condition

All the National team`s players should wear the same design jerseys. Players are allowed to use jerseys from 2012-2014 years.

Players can order the National teams jerseys from any manufacturers they like. The National teams jerseys should meet the requirements of 2014 National Jersey Template.

National teams without National teams jerseys will not be allowed to play.

Tournament regulations

Participants: Women National Teams only, consisting of players from that nationality, but from different club teams.
Age limit: No limits.
Teams limit: 8 teams. If registered more then 8, the qualification system will be applied.
Format: Race to 4.
Roster: 12 players (only 10 per game allowed).
Qualification system: Direct Elimination.

2 games Minimum. Teams which will lose their first game, will have to play a 2nd game for ranking purpose for 2016.

The European Referee organization Euroref will provide referees for this event.
